Family violence service referrals

To make a referral to our family violence support service, please complete the online form.

This form is for professionals who wish to refer a client to GenWest. Note: If you have completed a risk assessment for the client, please add it to this form as an attachment.

Alternatively, you can download a form (Word document) below and send via email to fvassist@genwest.org.au.

Please note that there is a waitlist to access case management services, and during busy times there can be a delay in responding.

If you are looking for support for yourself, please call us on 1800 437 936. If you have any other enquiries or would like to follow up on a referral, please email fvassist@genwest.org.au.

Children’s and Youth Counselling referrals

To make a referral to GenWest’s Children’s and Youth Counselling service, please complete the online form.

If you have any enquiries related to the counselling service, please email counselling@genwest.org.au.

Crisis Accommodation

Referrals for crisis accommodation are received via Safe Steps. If you are working with a client and wish to refer them to crisis accommodation, please contact Safe Steps on 1800 015 188, to discuss whether a refuge is suitable for their circumstances.

After Hours Support

GenWest also provides family violence crisis support after hours, we take referrals for this service through Safe Steps, who can be contacted on 1800 015 188.
