Last Friday, Souriya, Team Leader, Case Management and Kirsten, Team Leader, Counselling represented GenWest at the West Metro Family Violence Child Protection Sector Fair in Footscray.
The Fair, held during Child Protection Week, brought together Child Protection practitioners and local family violence services to strengthen understanding, encourage collaboration, and improve safety outcomes for families.
Kirsten and Souriya showcased GenWest’s services, shared resources, and spoke with practitioners about how we can work together on risk management and case coordination.
The Fair was an important opportunity to connect and build partnerships across the community service sector, so families in Melbourne’s west can get the right support at the right time.
