In Victoria, the Walk Against Family Violence is an important event during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence – a global campaign for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
On Friday 28 November our team walked with @respectvictoria and thousands of our colleagues, friends, and community to honour survivors of, and those lost to gender-based violence.
Walking alongside and listening to our community at the annual Walk Against Family Violence is bittersweet. It's a moment of solidarity and hope, held alongside the grief and anger that this walk is still needed.
It’s a powerful reminder of the strength of our community, and the collective commitment we share to building a future where everyone is safe, respected, and free from violence.
