Let's Reconnect: Summer Holiday Program 2024

This is a free event - book now as limited spots are available.

Activities at the summer holiday program include:

• Grassman Making - A creative way to use dirt, grass and seeds, a colourful grass man to take home
• Free Form Art Activity - Fun using recycled items and art materials. Samples will be available to get ideas
• Pet Rocks and Pebble Friends (Art Workshop) - We encourage you to continue the journey of your imagination & ideas to life using art material
• Memory Post Card and XR Workshop - A virtual creative way to use 3D object created by you; take home the post card as a memory
• Yoga and Mindfulness - Bring the body and mind together with light movements, breathing & mindfulness
• Self-care and pampering with massage, manicure & nail painting

Free lunch included.

The program is for Maribyrnong flood-affected families.

About GenWest's flood recovery project

The project supports refugee and migrant women and their families who were affected by the 2022 floods in Maribyrnong.

It does this by:

• bringing together displaced community members
• giving people an opportunity to share their stories and resilience
• supporting people to access services that support their recovery

Over that last year we have held local community events giving people in Maribyrnong who were affected by flooding the chance to reconnect, learn about their rights and available support services and access funding information.

Chương trình miễn phí - Lớp học có giới hạn. Cần ghi danh trước.

• Trồng và trang trí cỏ trong chậu
• Làm thủ công các vật dụng trong nhà bằng giấy
• Yoga (tập hít thở và ngồi thiền)
• Chăm sóc bàn tay và xoa bóp vai, cổ
• Và nhiều hoạt động khác …
