Individual membership
You can join GenWest as a member if you:
- Are over 18 years old
- Live, work or study in Melbourne’s west
- Share our vision and purpose
It’s free to join.
As a member, you can:
- Vote at our Annual General Meeting
- Attend events like International Women’s Day event
- Hear about what we’re working on via email newsletters
- Strengthen our voice as we advocate for gender justice and change
If you don’t live in the West, you can join as an Associate Member. Associate members cannot vote at the Annual General Meetings, but receive all other benefits of joining.

GenWest Membership - Individual or Associate
Organisational membership
Organisations who share the vision of GenWest, and who work in Melbourne’s western region (metropolitan or statewide organisations whose client base includes the west) are eligible to become organisational members.
Organisational members must nominate a staff member who will be entitled to vote at the GenWest Annual General Meeting.
