This recorded session provides accessible, tailored information for families with disabilities. It supports parents and carers to have confident, informed conversations with children about their bodies, safety, consent and respectful relationships.
The session also strengthens understanding of children’s rights, helps adults recognise early signs of harm to children and supports clear, age-appropriate conversations with children.
Visit our resource page Child Sexual Abuse Prevention resources for downloadable resources to support conversations at home and within your community. The resources help families have age-appropriate conversations about safety with their children and what to do if you need help.
These resources on child sexual abuse prevention have been developed by GenWest, in partnership with Body Safety Australia. This project has been supported by the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).
